New Dior Forever Glow Luminizer

Dior recently has reformulated 3 of their popular complexion products and Forever Glow Luminizer is one of them (the other two are Forever Nude Bronze and Forever Hydra Nude Foundation). While I think it was unnecessary because the previous version was awesome, the new silver packaging is definitely an upgrade and I managed to find a couple of shades that would be unique in my collection. Oh, and also for science.

Dior Forever Glow Luminizer ($52, Dior Beauty)

There are 7 shades available and it seems they come in 3 different finishes. From the swatches I've seen, the ones that have "Halo" in their names have a smoother, more subtle finish. The two shades I purchased this time have "Strobe" in the names and they have more noticeable shimmers. The last group has "Sequin" in their names and they seem to have a glitter finish. I think this is a smart approach!

04 Pink Strobe 

Pink Strobe has a cool pink base and golden glow. This is rather a stunning and opulent shade! For me, this makes a gorgeous blush color.

05 Blue Strobe

Blue Strobe is mainly a pale blue highlighter shade but there is a very subtle pinky shift so it doesn't look too frosty on the skin. Dior has done something like this with their Backstage collection but I have to say this new Glow Luminizer is a better formula.

And, here are these two highlighter shades in action. Normally, I would not wear these two at the same time, but I just thought, "Why not?".

On my complexion, I am wearing the Dior foundation stick in 0N. This is such a great stick foundation formula and the shade is rather perfect for me.

I based my mobile lids with Nars Total Seduction Stick Eyeshadow in Rebellion and added the Dior Mono eyeshadows in Beige Mitzah and Rose Tulle.

On the lips, I am wearing Dior lip liner in Beige Tulle and Dior Addict lipstick in Tie & Dior.

Pink Strobe is worn as a light shimmery blush, and Blue Strobe is on the high points of my cheeks and brow bones. I am also wearing Blue Strobe on the inner corners of my eyes.

Dior makes one of the prettiest highlighters on the market and the new ones seem as great as the previous ones. I personally don't see a huge difference in terms of the formula. I love that now you can choose the finish you want and the new packaging is stunning. I wouldn't collect all the shades as I did with the previous ones, though. While I love these new shades, I also feel now I have all the possible highlighter shades in the world.
