Tom Ford "Rose Exposed" Makeup Collection

For Valentine's Day 2025, Tom Ford presents another rose perfume, "Rose Exposed" and of course, a corresponding makeup collection. Rose Exposed is supposedly a secret re-release of the discontinued Rose Russie. Honestly, the bottle is the prettiest I've seen from Tom Ford, but a leathery rose isn't exactly my thing. On the other hand, this rose-theme makeup collection is very much my thing! 

Tom Ford Rose Exposed Eye Color Quad ($100, Neiman Marcus)

Unlike the slightly disappointing Soleil Neige Black Diamond quad, the Rose Exposed quad comes with such a gorgeous embossing and my favorite, wet and dry formula. Maybe Tom Ford heard our complaints as well. The plastic insert is back as well. The deep red packaging is also beautiful.

The color story is a very well-balanced rosy neutral. You can create a pinkier look if you leave out the bronzy shade on the bottom left, but this color adds a rich ton to the look and I personally love this color.

The formula is as great as ever. I never wet my eyeshadows for a hygienic reason, but I don't feel that I need to with this formula because it is rich and intense as is. 

The Rose Exposed quad reminded me of a couple of other Tom Ford eye quads in the wet and dry formula so I made some comparisons:

I was sure that I would find more than a few exact dupes but only one from each quad compared. There are some similarities but it is also interesting that these eyeshadow palettes all give me different moods and looks. Hazy Sensuality is the lightest pinky quad that is perfect for spring. I'd say Rose Exposed is a balanced rosy neutral that is more versatile. Honey Moon gives me these sultry deep plum vibes. I rarely go outside of a single eye palette to create my makeup look so I personally appreciate these subtle differences.

Tom Ford Lip Color Satin Impassioned ($65, Nordstrom)

Both lip products come in gorgeous red packaging accented with matte rose gold trims. I'd say the lip tint oil is overpriced although I enjoy the faint rose scent and the cushiony comfort it brings to my lips. The tinting property is minimal so it doesn't turn into a bright pink like some of the other Tom Ford tinting lip colors. I had Impassioned in the previous formula but it turned bad, so it was a nice excuse to buy this beautiful cool red in the special tube. The new version looks cooler in tone which I prefer. I also prefer the new formula.

I am wearing the exact same makeup except for the lip colors. On my face, I am wearing Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Foundation in Ivory Silk and the blush in Brazen Rose.

I enjoy this beautiful collection! The gorgeous intricate design and the packaging are something special in my collection and I love that these colors are suited for both special occasions and everyday looks. The formulas are beautiful as they should be for the price.
