Makeup Look | Rose Irisé

Tom Ford Soleil Neige 2023 Collection is probably my favorite holiday makeup collection from last year, and regardless of the season, I have been reaching for it quite often. The Rose Irisé is one of the most gorgeous cool-toned highlighters and definitely ranks top 3 in my crowded highlighter collection. The finish is just so delicate and pretty. And, as a part of this year's Soleil Collection, Tom Ford brought out an Ultra Shine Lip Color in the same name. Rose Irisé lipstick is a beautiful berry color and it goes perfectly with the eye quad and the highlighter. So, I have yet another signature look (cool-toned shimmery smokey eyes with saturated berry lips) and wanted to share the details. All items are still around for purchase.

Makeup Details

Tom Ford Architecture Soft Matte Blurring Foundation 00 Pearl ($150, Nordstrom)

It is the most expensive foundation that I currently own but I am completely happy with it. First of all, the shade match is rather perfect. I have to be a bit mindful about the primer and the application tool with this foundation cause it can be a little fussy, but once I get it right, the blurred finish and the lasting power are unmatched. 

Suqqu Oil-Rich Loose Powder 101

I used to like this powder a lot more but now I cannot wait to finish it. Still, a very good loose powder that is weightless and non-drying, but I prefer Decorté or Givenchy powders over this.

Tom Ford Soleil Neige Eye Color Quad Lumière D'Hiver ($90, Nordstrom)

This is a gorgeous cool shimmery palette that you can enjoy all year round. The formula is so silky and blendable. The deepest brown has some purple tinge to it. Quite unique!

Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Cassis ($34, Chanel)

Cassis is one of my favorite Chanel eyeliner shades. This deep plum shade makes your eyes look brighter. 

Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Blush Aflame ($95, Nordstrom)

I always think this blush is overpriced and nothing special but whenever I wear this, I love how silky and blendable it is and how it looks on my skin. I still recommend buying it on sale, though.

Tom Ford Ultra Shine Lip Color Rose Irisé ($59, Nordstrom)

Rose Irisé is a cool berry with a bit of sultry undertones. This particular Ultra Shine lipstick feels even better than the ones I've tried. 

It is somewhat similar to Tom Ford Slim Lip Color Shine in Velvet Tux but Rose Irisé is brighter and pinker.

The Look

There you have it. I haven't done a standalone look post with my existing makeup in a while, but this is when wearing makeup can be truly fun. I should make more effort to enjoy the things I have and find a new color combination, etc.
