Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Icon Lips

I had not purchased Charlotte Tilbury makeup in years but I had to give it another try when I heard the brand finally created some “real pink” lipsticks and lip liners. I chose Red Carpet Pink (pale mauve pink) lipstick & 90’s Pink (cool medium pink) lip liner and love the colors!

As to the formulas, Lip Cheat is great as ever (it is a happy medium of creamy & long-lasting) and Kissing Lipstick is also very good (honestly, I am spoiled by many innovative lipstick formulas these days, so this feels almost ancient but it is still excellent - creamy, long-wearing, hugging the lips). I might try another set but it would be because I am interested in the colors, not necessarily because the formulas are the very best.

You can see the 90's Pink Lip Cheat and the Red Carpet Pink Kissing Lipstick are a great match together! I also swatched the cult favorite, Pillow Talk Lip Cheat next to them. These new shades are indeed "pink". Thank God.

I also put a makeup look together in honor of these pink lippies. Vintage Vamp quad is the only regular (not LE) CT quad that I kept and I still think it is one of the best. The Mni Hollywood Blush & Glow Palette is new to me and it is flattering and of great quality! 

Overall, I am quite happy with these new Charlotte Tilbury lip shades. Great colors and really nice, reliable quality for sure.
