GUERLAIN | Fall 2023 Makeup Collection

Guerlain Fall 2023 Makeup Collection comes with the very cliché color stories for autumn - neutrals and browns. However, I got very excited when I first learned about the collection and could not wait to get my hands on it. When this collection became available in Japan in early June, I ordered mine from a Japanese retailer. Now this beautiful collection is more accessible and available at more retailers, I thought it was high time to talk about it.

The color stories may look mundane but there is something edgy and special about them. They also come with such beautiful quality and luxe packaging. I am in love with everything I picked up. I will probably skip the new Dior Fall collection because the Guerlain collection satisfies everything I need in neutral brown makeup.

Guerlain Ombres G 258 Wild Nudes ($85, Nordstrom)

This is a gorgeous neutral brown quad with some red undertones and velvet finishes. 

I am a big fan of Guerlain Ombre G eyeshadow formula and the new ones feel even better. I think these are more of a pressed powder (vs baked gelée) formula. The texture is buttery soft but not too soft. This particular quad has an amazing blurring effect on the skin.

Guerlain Ombres G 910 Undressed Brown ($85, Sephora)

Some of you might know that this is not the color story I often go for, but oh my my, Undressed Brown is such a special quad. I might love this more than the Wilde Nudes quad. This one has a beautiful satin finish overall. All shades are beautiful but the pumpkin/copper color is even more special. It's mesmerizing.

All 4 shades are very pigmented and blend amazingly. Love this quad so much!

Guerlain Rouge G Satin 08 Pink Beige, Rouge G Velvet 159 Warm Almond ($36, Sephora)

Guerlain Rouge G Lipstick Case Rosewood & Berry Brown ($26, Sephora)

I admit Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks can be cumbersome and expensive, but their satin and velvet formulas are one of the very best. I am not even into matte lip colors but Rouge G velvet is amazing - something you gotta try for yourself.

I adore these 2 neutral beige-brown colors. Both go perfectly with the eyeshadow quads in this collection.
