Suqqu always tells a beautiful story through their high-performing colors and this year's holiday collection is about the warmth of "Winter Roses". It is another gorgeous collection from Suqqu. The color story itself is slightly on the warmer side and muted so I didn't know how much I would like them but to my surprise, I am loving everything I picked up.
I purchased mine from Selfridges and Liberty London. Below are my swatches and makeup look with this amazing collection.
Signature Color Eyes 120 Fuyusoubi ($48, Selfridges)
This really looks like winter roses and even the earth and frost. Suqqu eyeshadows are always silky but this particular quad feels extra creamy and scrumptious.
Fuyusoubi is essentially a pink eyeshadow palette and probably the easiest to wear. It has a brightening effect yet gives enough depth to the look.
Pure Color Blush 136 Yukigomori ($34, Selfridges)
It is more of a "spring" shade but the overall color goes very well with the Fuyusoubi quad and the other quad in this collection (121 Kanika).
Pure Color Blush 137 Tsuyabae ($34, Selfridges)
I'd describe Tsuyabae as a warm brown rose.
It is one of those Suqqu shades that look much more beautiful when applied than looking at the pan. On the cheeks, it is a neutral rosy beige that subtly imparts warmth. Love this color.
Tone Touch Eyes 111 Hyoutenka ($30, Liberty London)
This beautifully icy mint green symbolizes sudden snow according to Suqqu's description.
Moisture Rich Lipstick 125 Sekiryou ($31, Selfridges)
Oil Rich Glow Loose Powder 101 ($50, Liberty London)
Last but not least, we have a lavender loose powder. Suqqu Oil Rich Loose Powder is so finely milled and very ideal for dry skin.
The delicate lavender shade in this lovely formula makes it perfect for under-eye setting or all-over use for brightening.
And here is my first makeup look with Suqqu Holiday 2022 Makeup Collection:
Overall, an excellent and unique collection with subtle glamour and sophistication. I would highly recommend the "Winter Roses" Collection from Suqqu.
Selfridges' price is better than Liberty London but there is extra shipping if you don't have Selfridges Global+ annual shipping program. Liberty London's price includes everything and they offer express shipping with a reasonable minimum order. (Take advantage of 15% off if you are new to the site with the code "NEWCUSTOMERS15").
Thanks for being here. What do you think of Suqqu's Holiday Collection this year?
