Bobbi Brown LUXE Precious Metals Eyeshadow Palette & Illuminating Duo Pink

I purchased Bobbi Brown LUXE Precious Metals Eyeshadow Palette on a whim and didn't expect much. Turns out it was one of the best from the holiday collections! This gorgeous palette is still available on Selfridges and even on sale. I'd highly recommend this one if you like sophisticated shimmery finishes in eyeshadows. It was a part of the holiday collection but certainly is something that I will reach for over and over again.

Both palettes come in luxurious gold packaging which feels quite substantial and nice. 

The Illuminating Duo Pink is also pretty but I have to say it's not all that unique (it's hard to find at this point but Bobbi Brown offers other versions and frankly, there are so many pink blushes with champagne shimmer out there, my friend).

Precious Metals Eyeshadow Palette is amazing, though. It is a palette full of beautiful one-and-done shades. The finish is metallic and shiny but with such sophistication. If you don't like micro-glitters but want some glam, this is the finish that you're looking for. The color story is also versatile having both warm and cool shades.

All colors swatch, apply and blend beautifully. Just stunning.

The duo is very pretty and has a great texture especially for something this shimmery, but again, it's not that unique. I also wish there was more contrast between the highlighter and the blush colors. I would still enjoy this duo in the spring.

Bobbi Brown isn't usually the brand that excites me but so impressed with the eyeshadow palette, I ended up purchasing some classic items from the brand.

These have been around for a long time and have a certain number of fans and now I understand why. Everything is of great quality while being very basic.

To my surprise, Extra Lip Tint is better than Dior Lip Glow and I already have a backup. Nourishing Lip Color seems to be soon discontinued (it's half off right now) but what a great formulation! The Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Heather Steel is a perfect base shade for creating a multi-dimensional look. And I love the gel liner shade that I got - such an interesting off-black color.

I received some mini skincare stuff with my purchase and ended up being impressed by them as well. So, I placed another order for a skincare set that is on sale.

Very late to the party, but I have thoroughly enjoyed everything that I purchased from Bobbi Brown lately. I also have reviewed them on YouTube if you're interested in seeing how these look on me.
