Dior Forever Couture Luminizers & Natural Bronze Powder

Dior Couture Luminizer swatches

I have some beautiful highlighters in my collection but Dior Forever Couture Luminizers ($48, Nordstrom) are exceptionally beautiful. When these first came out in the new fancy ivory packaging, I didn't expect them to be much different from the existing line although Dior claimed that they are newly formulated with 95% of natural-origin pigments. I initially just bought one with some reservation but I ended up loving the color and its finish so I purchased 2 more shades taking advantage of the recent sale. I also got Forever Natural Bronze Powder ($48, Dior) and it's gorgeous.

(These complete my highlighter collection. Really.)

Pink Glow (02)

Pink Glow is an essential highlighter shade for me. The base color is quite close to my skin tone and the fluid texture is just gorgeous. This certainly has its presence but never accentuates the skin texture nor does it look too much. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I didn't have anything too close to this color, but even if I did, the finish and texture make it worthwhile. If you like cool-toned highlighters, I'd highly recommend Pink Glow.

Pearlescent Glow (03)

Pearlescent Glow has a different finish from the other two - it has a very sheer base and micro glitters. The tone is almost icy and even flashes pale blue. This is by no means a highlighter for everyday use but still quite tastefully done. It adds extra oomph when applied on the high points of my cheeks but looks also stunning as an eyeshadow topper.

Rosewood Glow (05)

Ah, Rosewood Glow is so special. This is the first shade I purchased. This color is meant for deeper skin tones but I just knew that it would look perfect on me as a blush and I wasn't wrong! This is the most unique highlighter (or low-lighter or blush) in my collection. I love it so much.

Tan Bronze (04)

I wanted a true matte bronzer with a neutral undertone and the Tan Bronze shade is perfect for contouring my face. But it's the finish that I am truly impressed with. The powder is super finely milled and it has the blurring effect. I tossed my old Charlotte Tilbury bronzer after getting this.

I have made some collective swatches including Nude Glow shade in the old formulation:

Formulation-wise, there isn't a huge difference compared to the old formulation as it was already great with a skin-like finish. I have to say that the new ones do adhere to the skin slightly better and meld into the skin even more. Another difference is that the Forever Couture Luminizers are scented with a tangy floral whereas the old Diorskin formula is unscented.

I didn't know I needed more highlighters in my life but apparently, I needed these. If you are in the market for a highlighter with a sophisticated finish and skinlike glow, look no further. You might find a perfect one from the Dior Forever Couture Luminizers.

Thanks for being here. Have you tried Dior Forever Couture Luminizers and Bronze Powders? What do you think of them?

*I bought these highlighters and bronzer with my own money. This post contains affiliate links. Thanks for choosing to use them.
