Charlotte Tilbury recently had a big summer sale and I hauled quite a bit. I also received a few freebies so it was a great deal! I have tried some from the brand in the past but never felt it resonated well with my makeup style and preference. I can clearly see the appeal but, to be honest with you, I think Charlotte Tilbury's marketing is a little too busy and I don't find too many colors that suit me. I do enjoy her Palette of Pops, though! At 40% off, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to properly assess what the brand has to offer! Obviously, nothing in this haul is a new product but I thought I would still show you some swatches. Hope you find them helpful!
Bigger Brighter Eyes in Exagger-Eyes ($53, ASOS)
I would need a deeper shade to exaggerate my eyes but this is a very pretty everyday kind of eyeshadow palette with rosegold tones.
Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in Vintage Vamp ($53, Sephora)
This eyeshadow palette has been on my wishlist for a very long time. The colors are very pigmented and rich compared to Exagger-Eyes.
Cheek to Chic in Pillow Talk ($40, Nordstrom)
This was sent by mistake (I was supposed to receive a primer). I have decided to keep it, though. It's a warm pinky nude that would be flattering on many.
Cheek to Chic in Sex on Fire ($40, Nordstrom)
This is a beautiful mauvy nude with less shimmer. I really like the texture!
Airbrush Flawless Foundation in 1N ($44, Nordstrom)
This is one of the freebies!
Magic Foundation in 1 Fair ($44, Sephora)
I have compared these two. I will need to give them a proper test but both foundations seem to provide good coverage. They are not that different except the Magic foundation has a bit more yellow in the shade. Will update!
Chameleon Eyeshadow Pencils in Dark Pearl, Amethyst Aphrodisiac, Black Diamonds ($27 each, Nordstrom)
These are very soft and pigmented. The texture is quite malleable but once set, the colors won't budge.
Superstar Lips in Walk Of No Shame ($34, Nordstrom)
Another freebie and I love this lipstick! It's a glossy hydrating lipstick that hugs the lips. One of those formulas that actually improve lip condition.
I happen to have the same shade in the Jewel Lips gloss formulation so here I am comparing these two. Both are super pretty!
There you have it! Hope you enjoyed these swatches. I will post a full face soon with these new-to-me Charlotte Tilbury goodies.
