Bobbi Brown Luxe Eyeshadows (Moonstone, Metal Rose, Liquid Mercury)

After having missed out on the recent Bobbi Brown Pink Glow Luxe Eyeshadow Palette, I still found myself thinking about it. This sold out so quickly as soon as it was available in the U.S. I see a few on eBay but they are hugely marked up so I decided to buy a handful of singles instead. I do prefer quads or quints over singles but I am quite happy with my choices. Unlike some of the Bobbi Brown eyeshadows, the Luxe line seems to be of wonderful quality. All colors are highly pigmented, blend easily, and last for long hours. Let me show you some swatches and a makeup look with them!

Bobbi Brown Luxe Eyeshadow ($38, Norstrom) line offers 3 different finishes and I got one of each. I also picked some neutral colors ranging from light to dark for cohesive looks (No, I am not going to de-pot them and make a palette, no). 

Moonstone is a pale pink gold high sparkle. It is beautiful both on the mobile lids and along the lower lash line for multi-dimensional brightening effects.

Metal Rose is the color I wanted the most, actually. I believe this shade was included in both the recent LE Luxe quads. It is a stunning rose gold shade with a metallic finish. Great for one-and-done looks or a transition color for smokey eyes. There is a bigger palette built around this color (Luxe Metal Rose Eyeshadow Palette) as well.

Liquid Mercury is a grey-purple mauve shimmer, something I easily gravitate towards. It is very pigmented and creamy.

An overall look - I created a subtle everyday look here but you can do an intense smokey with these colors for sure.
