I almost passed on Chanel FW 2020 makeup collection thinking it's too pink and red (to be honest, it's redundant, too) but I was persuaded by the beautiful swatches I saw on Instagram. I finally caved in and picked up Candeur et Provocation for myself.
All colors swatch and apply wonderfully. The satin, matte, soft shimmery textures are equally beautiful.
My first attempt with this palette failed miserably but the second time was a bit better. It's still working process but at least now I know that I definitely need to tweak my features a bit (read "grey contacts") and start with a flawless base (2aN Gleaming Tension Pact (reviewed) comes in handy for that!). I also added some champagne glitters because I think that is what's missing from this palette.
Here are the makeup products that I used for this look.
*2aN Gleaming Tension Pact #21 ($39, Itzyuz)
Chanel Les 4 Ombres Candeur et Provocation ($62, Chanel)
Macqueen New York Jewel-Poten Eye Glitter #01 Kitten Diamond ($7.90, YesStyle)
Essence Lash Princess Mascara
Prestige Cosmetics Total Intensity Eye Liner Powerful Purple
Chanel Tweed Beige Blush
*2aN Lip Magnet #02 Relaxed Red ($16, Itzyuz)
Thanks for being here. What do you think of the new Chanel makeup collection? Did you pick up anything for yourself?
