Here is the second installment of "Look Book". It is officially a series, then!
Today's look is about blue eye makeup, lighthearted pink lips, and glowy cheeks.
I've already featured a few looks with this discontinued Chanel quad Fascination which I consider as a grownup's blue eyeshadows. It is not spring pastels with sheer clear finishes that can be found in many Asian brands. Each shade in Fascination is rather complex and has grey undertones, which is why I prefer to wear this quad in autumn and winter. Mine is in the old U.S. formulation that is buttery soft, but as a big fan of Chanel's baked formula, I think these colors would be wonderful in the harder sheerer textures as well. Both formulations are still around on eBay ( here & here ).
- I used Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer No. 07 as a primer. I can't say I am a huge fan of GA makeup, but I find this particular shade is one of the best for subtle radiance. This is my second bottle.
- RMK Liquid Foundation is one of my favorite foundation formulas. The shade 101 is very yellow and slightly darker than my face, but it matches the color of my neck. RMK has finally rolled out a new bottle with a pump so you won't have to suffer like I do with this old version.
- I wore Becca Prismatic Amethyst and Cargo Louisiana for glowy-but-not-too-pink cheeks. Berrisom Lip Tint in Bubble Pink is my go-to for a long lasting lip base. I usually wear lip gloss over but this time I skipped. Surprisingly, it didn't feel too dry on the lips.
Here are a few photos of the finished look.
Hope you enjoyed this look. Leave me a comment if you have any question.
Wish you a happy weekend!
